Computype has expertise in more variable printing technologies than probably any other label supplier around the world.  From full colour digital, thermal transfer, ink jet and flexography through to photographic - we have skills in almost every technology capable of producing barcode labels. 

• Digital Color – You will receive excellent image quality from this cost-effective technology with endless color capabilities. Digital imaging eliminates the need for print plates and artwork can be submitted via any graphics file format.
• Flexographic - Another cost effective label printing technology for multiple copies of the same image, incorporating fast-drying inks and printing plates for imaging on a wide variety of label stocks.
• Thermal Transfer - The ribbon and labels feed from separate rolls and are squeezed together by a roller as they pass under the thermal print-head. The heating elements melt the coating which transfers to the label to form the image.
• Ink Jet - The core of an inkjet printer, the print head, contains a series of nozzles that are used to spray drops of ink, most likely using four colors: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black that can recreate almost any shade the user wants.
• Photographic – an extremely robust imaging technology offering high resolution images which can be transferred to a variety of substrates including metal for barcode labels for the harshest of environments.
