The LAP4110 is a versatile print and apply label applicator that is built on an industrial Zebra thermal transfer label printer. It features a zero-queue, fixed position horizontal swing tamp applicator which places labels with extreme accuracy (+/- .020 in.) and reliability.
The printer-applicator can function in a semi-automated or fully automatic format for maximum versatility. It incorporates a unique vacuum sensor that automatically senses the presence of a label ready to be dispensed.
If a label mis-feed occurs, the system detects the absence of a label, stops the operation, and notifies the operator. This unique feature minimizes costly rework due to mis-labeled items or items without labels.
Because it is a swing-tamp applicator, it can be mounted for vertical, horizontal, or “bottom-up” label application. It can also be integrated with other automation equipment such as conveyors, robots, and other product handling devices.
