Definition of cryo label (in under 100 words)

Cryo labels (or cryogenic labels) are engineered label constructions designed specifically to remain adhered, readable, and in-tact for long-term cryogenic storage.

Cryogenic storage environments can be as extreme as -196°C and are utilized most often in healthcare applications that require storage of samples or specimens.

Cryogenic storage environments prove extremely harsh; therefore cryo labels require a unique combination of adhesive and laminate to remain compatible with the specific container they will adhere to.
